Mousse for Tequila Sunrise Martinis
6 Ingredients:
- 2 x 85g bundle orange jam precious stones
- 250ml (1 cup) bubbling water, in addition to 200ml, extra
- 375ml (1 1/2 cups) thickened cream
- 50ml tequila
- Daintily cut orange, to serve
- Maraschino cherries, to adorn
4 Method Steps:
Stage 1
Place 1 bundle of jam precious stones
in a heatproof bowl. Pour over the bubbling water and mix until broken up. Put away, blending at times, for 10 minutes or until cooled marginally. Place in the cooler, blending sporadically, for 15-20 minutes or until thick and sugary.
Stage 2
Utilize electric mixers to beat the cream in an enormous bowl until delicate pinnacles structure. Progressively beat in the cooled jam blend until firm pinnacles structure. Split the mousse combination between 6 martini glasses and move to the cooler for 30 minutes to somewhat set.
Stage 3
Place the leftover jam precious stones in a heatproof bowl. Pour over the additional bubbling water. Mix until broken down. Add the tequila and mix to consolidate. Put away, mixing incidentally, for 10 minutes, or until cooled marginally. Place in the refrigerator, mixing periodically, for 15-20 minutes or until thick and sweet. Cautiously pour the blend among glasses and return to the refrigerator for 4 hours or until set.
Stage 4
String orange skin strips or cuts and cherries onto mixed drink sticks. Orchestrate on top of each mousse to serve.
